Following the recent success of the Tuesday Shoot Out, we are going to do the same thing on a Thursday night in the run up to Christmas and into early January.
With the current Thursday season just about done and dusted, it doesn't seem worth starting a new league season in December, so we will run the Shoot Out over 5 Thursdays, from 4th December until 15th January (no games on the 25th December or 1st January, obviously).
You can think of this as being like our Champions League, each team will play two 20 min games per week, and all results will go onto one big league table, making it a maximum of a 10 game season.
This is open to all teams, spaces permitting, but obviously Thursday league teams take priority.
The time slots will be the usual 7pm, 7.45pm, 8.30pm and 9.15pm, priced at £6 per player, per week.
Given the nature of the time of the year, teams can feel free to dip in and out if necessary, but to be in with a chance of winning, you'll need to play as many weeks as possible.
The new Thursday league season will start on 22nd January, by which time we'll have picked up a few more teams as everyone desperately tries to shed the festive pounds.
