Recap
There might not have been many games on this week, but the ones that were were worth watching, including this one between two previously unbeaten teams. After an opening night draw, Inter Row Z had gone on a winning spree, but faced an Only Kruls team who’d won all of their games since joining.
Only Kruls got off to a fast start, with goals from James Thornley and Seb Etchells putting them two up in the first 4 minutes. Kyle Clarke pulled one back for Inter half way through the period, but two more goals from Luke Farrow eased Kruls into a 4-1 lead. Clarke’s second of the game three minutes from the break meant it was a two goal game at the interval.
Clarke grabbed his third three minutes after the break to set this one up for an interesting second period, but three goals in 4 minutes from Thornley, Brad Gilman and Farrow looked to have killed this one off with 17 minutes to spare. Callum and Ray Donnelly pulled two back for Inter to reduce their lead to two with 6 minutes remaining, but Kruls saw the game out to make it 5 straight wins as they head towards the Championship title.
