Two teams who’ve struggled for a consistent side this season met up with the main aim of both sides simply being survival this season.

A frantic opening 10 minutes saw 4 goals and us sitting at Desmond after Jamie Berrisford twice gave Crisis the lead only for Chris Simpson and Tom Cioffi to pull the Brotherhood back level both times. The Brothers were in front when Cioffi grabbed his second, and they jumped into a 4 goal lead as Simpson added two more and Cioffi his third. Danny Garvey reduced the deficit in the final minute of the half, but it was still a long way back for Crisis from here.

The game looked up for Crisis 7 minutes into the second half when Rob Sheldon made it 7-3, but they showed their mettle as three more Garvey goals in 7 minutes pulled them right back into it going into the final 7. There was only to be one more goal in this one, and it was a goal that clinched the win for the Brothers as Cioffi grabbed his 4th of the game to give them their first actual win of the season.
