Recap
Petr Cech Yourself have gone with the name Expected Toulouse this season, which is ironic given the had won every game since a change in personnel towards the end of the last campaign, but they faced a tough opener against Premiership Champions AC Milmanchester.
Milmanchester didn’t have it all their own way last week in their double header, and they fell behind in this one as Jordan Milne scored for Expected in the second minute. The Premiership new boys were outstanding in the first period, and further goals from Liam Mottram and Jake Fern saw them lead 3-0 at the break.
It was a lead that didn’t really flatter them, but there’s a reason why Milmanchester are the Champions, and within the first 5 minutes of the second period they hit back with two of their own from Callum Jones and Chris Singleton. We headed into the final 10 minutes with the same scoreline despite chances at either end, but it was Milmanchester who levelled things up through a Jones penalty, before two more in two minutes from Jason Singleton and Jones sealed a comeback win for the Champions in what looks like being a much tougher Premiership division than last season.
