So tonight could be the night for Jeremy Cheadle! A win over Phantom Brazilians would confirm them as Monday Championship winners for this season, but Phantom can be a funny one and have pulled off a few surprise results in what ultimately has been a tricky season for them in terms of fielding a team most of the time.

They found fielding a team quite easy this week, and were looking to spoil the party as Jimmy Leeson gave them the lead on three minutes. That lead lasted just two minutes as Jake (just Jake. Was it Jake?!) levelled things up before Alex Whelan put them in front on 11 minutes. In a tight first half these were the only goals, as everything was still to play for in the second period.

Leeson grabbed his second with 18 minutes remaining to leave Cheadle’s promotion party possibly looking like dragging on into the extra week, but almost immediately Joel Farrell grabbed three goals in 4 minutes to help them open up a three goal lead. Robin Hulme pulled one back 8 minutes from time, but there was no Phantom comeback as Whelan secured the win and the title for Cheadle with the final goal of the game three minutes from time.
