Recap
The new faces that have been added to the Petr Cech Yourself squad have really pepped up a season that looked like it was going to fizzle out amongst a series of disappointing results, and they went into this week’s game with Let’s Try Again off the back of two big wins. Their opponents this week had also had a recent upturn in form, which coincided with a more settled line up, and they came into this week’s game unbeaten in 4, with three of those games resulting in victories.
Conor Dolan gave LTA the lead in the opening minute, but that wasn’t a sign of things to come as Petr Cech gained a stranglehold as the half went on. It took until the 12th minute for them to level things up as Jordan Milne scored, but after that goals from Liam Mottram, Liam Smith and an own goal helped them open up a three goal lead. Joe Lailey pulled one back two minutes from the break, but Waz Akram found the time to add another for Petr Cech before the half time whistle.
The early period of the second half was vital in this one, and it was Petr Cech who made the vital move in those stages as Jack Grundy and Akram helped them into a 5 goal lead. Lailey grabbed his second to keep LTA in with a shout, but it was all Petr Cech in the final 15 minutes as they finished by far the stronger. A second own goal, followed by two from debutant Niall Hillen and one each for Akram and Milne eased them to a comfortable win as we look to decide which division to put them in next season…….
