Recap
Under Rated have stumbled of late as they looked to complete what looked like being an inevitable League One title win, including losing to this weeks opponents AOTS, but they still retained pole position and could clinch the title with a win this week.
Jimmy Nation got them off to the ideal start with a goal in the opening minute, and a tight first half saw only one more goal as Stuart Carter doubled their lead two minutes from the break.
AOTS got themselves back in the game through a Carl Buckley goal three minutes after the break, but Carter’s second three minutes later put Under Rated back in control. Buckley grabbed his second to keep things tight with 15 minutes remaining, but the crucial moment came when Nation grabbed a quickfire double inside the final 10 minutes to ease Under Rated clear. Chris Leah added another three minutes from time, before their heart was made to flutter by Adam Duty scoring a couple of late goals for AOTS to close the gap up again. Under Rated held on, and claim the League One title for the season.
