Recap
The Dons ended a wretched run with a won over Expected Toulose last week, so could they get a little run going with a second straight win over a Stockport Eagles side who’s season hasn’t really got going?
There wasn’t a lot to choose between the teams in the first half, but it was the Dons who took their chances to lead 2-0 at the break. Kyle Norris gave them the lead after 10 minutes before Jack Isherwood doubled their advantage 4 minutes from the half time whistle.
The second half seemed to drifting towards a Dons win and we headed into the final 10 minutes with the scoreline remaining the same, but two goals in three minutes from Michael Winn and Alex Patterson pulled the Eagles back from the brink and looked to have given them a chance to get at least a point from this one. With the game on a knife edge, it was an own goal 5 minutes from time that gave SK Dons their second straight win which sees them onto 6 points while the Eagles continue to look for their first.
