Top of the table clash and potential title decider as Old Reddish played AC Milmanchester knowing they needed a win to see the title go down to Milmanchester’s second game.
Anthony Pugh opened the scoring for Old Reddish before Ray Warbuton made it 2-0. Simon Hackney pulled one back for AC Milmanchester, buy Pugh restored Reddish’s two goal advantage 5 minutes later. Billy Gallagher brought the deficit back to one with his 17th minute goal, however Ray Warburton popped up with his second of the game. The exchange of goals kept coming as Chris Singleton and Callum Jones added another couple meaning at half time Old Reddish went into the break 5-4 up.
AC Milmanchester didn’t quite manage to hold of the attack from Old Reddish in the second half. Anthony Pugh’s second half brace, along with Demmells hat trick added another 5 goals to the tally for Old Reddish. AC’s James Elmore and Aiden Jones managed to get their names on the scoresheet too, but it wasn’t enough as Old Reddish took the points with a 10-6 win.
