On paper this one was only going to go one way as Mirror Signal Malouda, off the back of a massive win over J Stands last week, took on pointless El Caliente.

It took 6 minutes for the deadlock to be broken as Jimmy Leeson opened the scoring for Malouda. Jack Storer made it two three minutes later, and by half time it was a three goal lead as Callum Jones scored 4 minutes from the break.

Danny Robinshaw got Caliente off the mark early in the second period to give them an outside chance of making a go of a second half comeback, but the mysterious ‘Jack’ (no surname, didn’t pay……) and Jones both scored to give Malouda a 4 goal lead going into the final 15 minutes. Jones got his third and Robinshaw his second to keep the deficit as it was, but further goals from Leeson and Jones put the seal on a fairly straightforward win for the title chasers.
