Not A Chance vs Ji Sung Park The Bus

Recap

Ji Sung Park The Bus struggled for a side then struggled on the pitch in their first week, but they had a stronger looking line up this week as they took on a Not A Chance side who are also currently struggling with injuries and holidays.

One of their returning players, Kyle Bell, gave them the lead in the third minute, but Ji Sung responded well and got themselves level through Kyle Norris’ goal a couple of minutes later. They may have had a stronger looking team, but given the number of new players involved it was always going to to take time for Ji Sung to gel, and the defending side of things let them down this week. Phil Carroll got two, Bell his second and Josh Worthington another in a 5 minute spell that showed up the lack of organisation in the new team. Norris got his second to pull another back but Carroll got two more and Worthington another, before Norris scored his third of a high scoring first period that had the Chancers leading 8-4 at the break.

Worthington and Chris Priestley scored in the opening 8 minutes of the second period to pretty much end the contest, but Tom Farrah got his name on the score sheet for Ji Sung as they halved the deficit with 15 to play. The result was only going one way though, and further goals from Priestley (who was robbed of his hat trick, he’d like me to point out), Worthington, Nathan Mulhern and two more from Carroll meant Not A Chance pick up a big first win of the season.
