Polish Army went into thweir game against Stockport Eagles needing a win to keep within touching distance of, top of the league, Magpie FC. It has been a season of alternate fortunes for these two teams as Stockport Eagles find themselves second bottom, although they have put some distance between themselves and the foot of the table.
Eagles got off to the ideal star. Connor Harding opening the scoring in the 3rd minute of the game. Michal brought scores level 6 minutes later. However, Stockport managed to crank up into another gear and really put the pressure on Polish FC, Alex Patterson and Ben Waughgave Eagles a two goal lead going into the break.
A flurry of goals in the second half in this one. Michal reduced the defecit to one with his second strike of the game. Two further Polish FC goals from Marcin gave them the lead for the first time in the match, but Eagles werent going to let this one slip. Connor Harding restored their goal advantage in the 35th and 41st minute. Unfortunatly, Stockport Eagles couldnt quite hold on and Marcins 46th minute goal meant the teams shared the spoils.
