Top of the table Magpie FC needed to keep racking up the points to ensure their 3 point lead over second placed Polish Army remained intact.

Gaorge Vladuta got Magpie off to the ideal start with his first of two goals putting them in front in the 5th minute. Stockport Eagles didn’t help themselves in what would no doubt be a tough game, by conceding an own goal to put the league leaders 2-0 up. Nicula Alexandru got his first of the game to give Magpie a 3-0 lead. Just before half time, Connor Harding pulled one back for Stockport Eagles, to send them into half time with a fighting chance of getting back in the game.

The second half undoubtedly belonged to Nicula Alexandru; 4 goals in the second half rounded off his man of the match performance. Michael Winn did manage to get 2 goals back for Eagles in the second half, but it wasn’t enough as Magpie ran out leaders 8-3 to remain top of the league.
